Very Rare 2 Waltham Santa Fe Route 17j 18s Model 1883 Of Case

This is a beautiful rare and highly collectable Waltham Santa Fe Route high grade railroad pocket watch from 1894. This beautiful timepiece has high quality damaskeening engraving on the plates and 17 jewels in screwed in gold jewel settings.

The stem wind movement is engraved Santa Fe Route in a soap shaped block, 17 JEWELS ADJUSTED and numbered 6006270, which dates it to about 1894. It is a size 18 model 1883 movement. The watch was serviced in September 2022 and is working well. The original double sunk dial is marked Santa Fe Route in it's special soap shaped block with WALTHAM above the seconds sub dial and is in good condition with just some repairs in the upper half of the seconds sub dial. The stunning gold filled open face case is marked Warranted 20 Years and numbered 5597822 and is in excellent condition with no brassing or dents.

It has been fitted with a mineral glass lens. If not an unpaid item report will be submitted and the item will be re-listed without notice!
